Hair Medicine: A Day with Kaylee

Kaylee Smoke is the owner of Enska, a beauty and barbering business offering professional barbering, hairdressing, and makeup services. A proud graduate of the ADAAWE Wejibàbandan Indigenous Business Incubator, Kaylee has grown both as an entrepreneur and as a creative, with a passion for building accessible, high-quality beauty experiences for Indigenous communities.

Hair Medicine: A Day with Kaylee is a one-day pop-up hair-cutting event rooted in the belief that hair is more than just style—it's care, expression, and connection. This event offers a range of cuts suited to all lengths and textures, including:

• Skin Fade – $30 (1 hr): Faded down the sides and back to skin, with longer length on top

• Short – $30 (1 hr): For hair landing above the jaw

• Medium – $35 (1 hr): For hair landing between the jaw and shoulders

• Long/Extra Long – $40 (1 hr): For hair landing below the shoulders

• Creative Cuts – $50 (1 hr): Unique styles like mullets, tapers, or combinations of clipper and shears

This pop-up is part of Kaylee’s ongoing mission to make beauty services more accessible, intentional, and community-driven—and she hopes events like this will become a regular offering at ADAAWE.
